We made it to Nassau! | Exploring Paradise Island & ATLANTIS with friends!

Wow! It still feels unreal that we are now in the Bahamas after starting our journey from Europe. We were surprised to see some old friends when we pulled into Nassau! After anchoring we went onto the island to have lunch, find a rental car and explore a little for a couple of days. On Sunday we went to church and dropped off Greg to the airport. In the same evening our good friend Adam arrived! His wife and kids flew in later. We're glad to have the Bentons back! Thank goodness the next day was sunny, so we went out and found a great place to get our sail repaired. It was a huge mission to get it off and transport all the way ?. After that, to pass some time we ended up walking along the towns and visiting the Atlantis. We all have been there before and it feels amazing to be back! The next day we decided to head back to the Exumas to spend some time fishing, snorkelling and playing in the water. That night we were ready to watch a movie with all the families... but it down poured like crazy! We were soaking wet. The next day we made it to the Long Cay area through the storm, but we had a great evening exploring the beautiful sea floor. It was a fun week. We have reservations for the water park next week.
