We Had to Make a Hard Decision

Toni and I spent the summer tackling a variety of house projects while preparing for our return journey south. Despite our best efforts, it became clear that several critical projects would not be completed before our planned departure. Adding to the challenge were a number of important, difficult-to-schedule medical appointments that simply could not be postponed. This was not an easy decision, but it was the right one based on the realities in front of us. Rather than rushing our departure and carrying these unfinished responsibilities with us, we have decided to winterize “Moments in Time” and place her on the hard for the season. This winter will give us the opportunity to focus on our health, complete our home projects, and begin the process of sorting through 28 years of accumulated treasures, or as our kids like to call it, "junk." We've committed to dedicating five hours each day toward these goals. Come April, we hope to relaunch "Moments in Time" and continue our adventures with fewer obligations, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing we've taken care of the things that matter most.
