We evacuated - Hurricane Milton is bigger than Helene - Part1

Hurricane Milton hit the West Coast of Florida less than two weeks after Hurricane Helene hit West Florida. We live on a Canal in Punta Gorda, and this one had us very worried-way more than any of the others, even Ian, two years ago. We evacuated, but we can show you footage from our daughter, who stayed. We are safe and sound. We evacuated and smartly did so on Monday before the storm hit Wednesday night, Even leaving that early traffic was terrible, but we show you our account of Preparing for a Hurricane to hit with expected surge higher than our homes elevation. We also show where we safely went to avoid being in the storm. We show footage of the storm, the wind, and even a transformer blowing in the distance. We know we are returning to a mess and want to see how the house survived and if it flooded.
