So, we drove from Hampton to Annapolis, Maryland to check her out, and now we are officially the proud new owners of MoonShadow. Although the key turned over the new Yanmar beautifully, there is still quite of bit of work that needs to be done before she is truly seaworthy. We are fixing her the best we can, while making lots of messes and learning an insane about the boat along the way! In the end, we make enough adjustments so she's ready enough to sail and start our journey back down South! Next stop, Reedsville , Virginia for that fresh new paint job!
