Visiting the GOWER Fresh Christmas Tree Farm

Welcome back- today we head only 7 miles from the house to the Gower Fresh Christmas Tree Farm, to (you guessed it!) pick some Pumpkins. Each year, they bring in food stands, animals and let you pick your own pumpkins and this year, it was much bigger than last time. We spent the afternoon dodging mud and soaking in all the Autumnal colours before heading back and making my first ever Pumpkin pie. A few days later (with Halloween passed!) i finally find time to carve my pumpkin- it definitely wasn't the best job! Haha. Anyway, i chop it all up, add some broth, onion and seasonings and blend into a yummy, warming soup. Hope you enjoy!
