Follow along for real time updates on Instagram and Facebook @cruisingmeraki ▬▬ THIS WEEK ▬▬ “Being Challenged in life is inevitable, being defeated is optional” We lost a large majority of our footage and so there was a decision to be made; should we give up and let this be the end of the filming? ABSOLUTELY NOT! We love having these videos for ourselves and it’s amazing how many people are enjoying joining us each week on the journey (THANK YOU!). With a bit of creative editing, footage from fellow cruisers, our iPhones (not the greatest quality) and a camera SD card found with undeleted drone footage I have to say we pulled together something that we are quite proud of. It’s no surprise that we love a good challenge and I have to say this opportunity has invigorated and motivated us for this video and those to come. There is always a silver lining in any situation and the morning I finalized this video I woke up and thought “I’m glad this happened it’s inspired me to get creative” (haha WHAT?!) If @Lacie is able to recover our footage, one day we will go back and edit the Baja footage. It truly was an epic time for us as a family, we grew so much, the kids fell in love with this lifestyle and Mick and I were so proud of what we had accomplished. The emotions of this 3 week journey was palpable in the footage and I look forward to reliving it in the future.
