Puissant, le Tricat 30 reste simple à manœuvrer, en famille comme en solitaire. Au port, il se replie facilement à flot pour limiter sa largeur à 3,50 m. Sa raideur structurelle lui autorise un potentiel de vitesse exceptionnel : le 30 a déjà été flashé à plus de 20 nœuds.
