The new Edencraft 565 sea trial through Port Phillip Heads

The new Edencraft 565 with a 150HP Mercury, taken through the notorious Port Phillip Heads. A light breeze with 2-3m swells in some parts, and messy seas due to heavy winds the day before (upwards of 40knots). Perfect conditions to test a new boat. The 565 performed beautifully. A very soft ride courtesy of the constant vee section through the keel (in place of the old planing plank), and we stayed very dry thanks to the new flared bow. It was also very predictable through the messy seas - whether it were beam, head sea or following.
