We went to sailing school in February so that we could do this. This is our first test: We rented a sailboat in Traverse City, MI and we're sailing in the Grand Traverse Bay. Here is our daily recap - Day 1: Kent got us out of the dock like a pro, we motored north for a couple of hours then finally found the wind. In 1-3 knots of wind, we were able to sail between 4 - 7 knots. Our destination for the night - anchoring in a sweet little cove, Ingalls Bay.
