The Extraordinary Exumas (Calico Skies Sailing, Ep. 46)

We spent many hours dreaming of the Exumas when we were working on Calico Skies this past fall in Annapolis. With waters rumoured to be even more clear and beautiful than anywhere else in the Bahamas, exploring this new-to-us-territory was a tantalising fantasy that kept us going through many long days of boat projects. In this episode, we finally enter the turquoise waters of the Exumas as we make our way to Allan Cay. After a visit with the Iguanas (the most hysterical creatures!), we make our way to Staniel Cay to visit an incredible underwater cave called the Thunderbolt Grotto. And for those with a keen eye, in the previous couple of episodes you may have noticed the addition of some new equipment in the form of a windless (!!). We tackled so many boat projects this fall that we thought it might be more fun to sprinkle them in via flashbacks, so in this episode we show you the highlights of the install of our fantastic new upgrade (just ask Bill's back :)).
