The big Show! Day 5 at Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez 2026

L’imagination au pouvoir ! Jeudi pluvieux, jeudi heureux ! En ce jour dédié aux rencontres informelles dans l’esprit ludique initié par la Nioulargue, l’enthousiasme des équipages inscrits aux Voiles de Saint-Tropez l’a emporté sur l’humidité ambiante et la brise qui jouait les filles de l’air. Les paris allaient bon train autour de Défis lancés tous azimuts entre concurrents et la Club 55 yacht Cup qui opposait Hallowe’en et Mariella. Et 18 centenaires qui ont en vu d’autres, se sont livrés à une course poursuite d’une intensité proportionnelle à leur âge canonique. Pendant ce temps, une vingtaine d’équipages se préparaient pour le défilé de ce soir, un autre rendez-vous très attendu où l’imagination est au pouvoir. Power to the imagination! On this very special day given over to informal gatherings in the playful spirit championed by the Nioulargue, the enthusiasm of the crews signed up for Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez triumphed over the damp conditions and elusive breeze. All bets were on amongst the various challenges laid down between competitors in the Club 55 Yacht Cup, which saw Hallowe’en pitted against Mariella. Having survived a lot worse, some 18 centenarians set sail on a high-speed chase, which was as magnificent as their venerable age. Meantime, around twenty crews prepared for this evening’s parade through the town in fancy dress, in what is yet another eagerly awaited event synonymous with all power to the imagination.
