A mini adventure. We tested our Highfield Classic 290 Rib with our Epropulsion Spirit 1 by going from Gallows Point (Beaumaris) to Menai Bridge for a takeaway. Then we went under the Menai Bridge, through the Swellies, under the Britannia Bridge to the statue of Lord Nelson. We got back under the Britannia Bridge and about halfway through the Swellies before we had to tie up to a tree and wait for slack water. After a wait I rowed up the eddies to the Menai Bridge, from there we were able to gently motor out of the tidal stream all the way back. We used about 3/4 of both batteries.
