Test - Schaefer 450 - Good for your first flybridge yacht? Speed & Range Fuel Flow

If you have owned an outboard powered day boat or sterndrive sports cruiser and you still want some speed but now require enough living space for day trips with between 8 - 12 people and overnights for up to 6 people then this Schaefer 450 is worthy of your attention. What stuck with me the most after around 8 hours driving her in both calm and quite windy conditions was the very neat construction of the hull. I like this hull for people who want to run up an inland waterway at speed with lots of wind and boat chop and also for those of you that desire a bit of coastal hopping of say 50 - 100NM at a time.
