We tried to power a winch with a drilling machine. Watch the result in video! Conditions: 38-foot cruiser 10.6 knots of wind We tested the capacity of a drilling machine to sheet in our genoa. Drilling machine are sometimes used with a connector on sailing boats to turn a manual winch into an electric winch. we tested this solution.
