Swapping From AGM to Lithium Batteries on a Sailboat

After 3 years of sailing on Starry Horizons, the time had come to replace our old AGM battery bank with something new. We installed a 720Ah 12v LiFePO4 house bank with a BMS and Distribution Control Board, upgraded to a 3,000W/120A Inverter Charger, swapped out MPPT Solar Controllers AND the alternators on our engines. This was a serious project but we wanted to make sure we did it right. There are some issues around Lithium Battery banks that need to be addressed and in this video we talk about how we came up with a set-up we're comfortable with as we sail around the world. Plus I'll touch on some of the lessons learned through the whole process.
