The work of maintaining a boat doesn't end once it goes in the water. There are always maintenance, upkeep and repairs that need to be made. Some work can only be done while the boat is out of the water. Many projects can be done while it is in the water. This video documents just a few of our projects on our 2005 Beneteau First 40.7 during the Summer of 2025 while she was in the water. Surely not the most exciting video but it does follow our efforts to bring you our boat ownership experiences and what it takes to keep the boat in proper condition to allow us to venture out on our sailing adventures.
