After several days of cloudy rainy weather, we finally got some sunshine in Martinique so started our inland tour of the town of St Pierre, at the base of the volcano that completely destroyed the entire city just over 100 years ago... this is part 1 as we dive in to explore a bit more behind the scenes and start to meet some of the people and the culture that lives here in modern day..
