We're sailing from Georgetown Bahamas to Luperon Dominican Republic. The engine continues to present issues, but we keep fixing them baby! The Thorny Path is the this difficult stretch of water from Bahamas down to the Leeward Islands. The sail is made difficult by the strong Easterly trade winds we have no choice but to directly into as we push south for the hurricane season. I came to the Dominican Republic back in 2018 for a mission trip and fell in love with the place. The people are amazing and it's so cheap here that a poor American can all of a sudden feel rich. And the mountains, god I love the mountains. We had a humbling sail, but the boat handled the weather with ease and we hung in there too! I hope y'all enjoy this shorter video and a glimpse into life on passage. Thanks for watching!
