Solar Boat Crossing from Italy to Greece, in winter!
A midnight departure, glassy seas, and a solo crossing from Italy to Greece. Everything was smooth, with no surprises? until I saw something strange in the water. In this video, I make the crossing from Otranto to Othonoi on my electric boat. With no wind and silky calm seas, it turns out to be a really easy trip, in spite of having clouds blocking the sun the whole day. Somewhere along the way, I spot something in the water, a long shape that surfaced and disappeared quickly. It looked? like the Loch Ness Monster had taken a vacation to the Med.?
