Seaway 25 Yacht History

The Seaway 25 is one of the most iconic small trailable racing yachts in Australia with over 70 produced over the years. Designed by the late great Doug Peterson to a design brief provided by World Half Ton Champion and Seaway builder Tom Stephenson it was a competitive boat in IOR , JOG, Trailable Racing and Club Racing. It had four versions over the years. Mark 1 - Original design with lift keel and cassette rudder Mark 2 - Two cabin windows instead of one. Elite - Bigger Cabin top, new cockpit, mid hull window, transom hung rudder 787 - Bigger cabin still - more cruising oriented. Built in Qld There were also fixed keel versions of all the models in limited quantities.
