Welcome to Sailing k????! In this video we head out of the Scottish Highlands and make our way back to Edinburgh. Along the way we hit one of the legendary castles used in the filming of Monty Python and Holy Grail (The Castle Aarrgh) as well as our Family Castle (Armadale). Most people do not make the trip from Inverness down to Fort Augustus while they are on Holiday due to the remote proximity of its location ... but we did! AND ... we saw a ship traversing the locks into Loch Ness! We also visited the Harry Potter Bridge along with the remotely located "Fairy Pools". The Isle of Skye has long been on my list for decades and we finally made it! Oban is one of my favorite places and we drive from there back to the Centre of Scotland in hopes of going to the MacCallan Distillery. However, when we were just a few kilometers away at the Cragganmore Distillery, we informed that tours of this distillery are by appointment only ... so needless to say, we did not make it. However, we had a little Bob Ross "happy accident" along the way and found some Whisky's that are not currently being exported that are truly 2nd to none! #Ballindalloch Finally we end up back in Edinburgh where we were taught the etymology of the term "Shit Faced" as explained in this video by the comedian Daniel Sloss while he was on the Conan O'Brien show.
