Hey Everyone, Episode 37 - Part Two Firstly thanks for following and watching 😉 Sailing our Nautitech 441 Catamaran from Tahiti to New Zealand is most definitely "The Highlight of our Twilight" Being days three to five on passage, we sail into The Doldrums, which is a welcome rest!! An engine fails and we prepare to divert to Rarotonga, ... After a few more rumpty days at sea … We realise this indeed was NOW our reality!! The fact is that our fuel tanks had not been completely emptied and cleaned upon purchase, as was contracted. A Lesson there to be learnt. Being naive sailing "newbies" we didn't arrange for that to be checked first before we left. With Navigation becoming our entire focus, we thanked “goodness” for Bob McDavitt http://metbob.com/ Daily texts and communication with Bob was key, and gave us great confidence.
