Sailing Solo Across the Atlantic VLOG #4 - Sailing 7 knots in 4 meter seas and 30+ knot winds!

The wind increased on the morning of the forth day, and I began to approach hull speed despite having 1 panel of the foresail still reefed. Later that day the wind dies back down to under 25 knots and I do some checks on the rigging. Although the size of the waves isn't clear on camera, there are online resources that will let you calculate it based on the percentage of white-capped waves. Most were around 3.5 meters, though I think I got one of the 4 meter waves on camera. I will release a short "Just Sailing" video from this day soon, with no music.
