Sailing over an active VOLCANO. S2/EP5

In this episode we start with a short visit to the magnificent island of #Karpathos, where nice winds & beautiful nature surprise us. We sail pass the MV TYPHOON, a ship dedicated cleaning the Greek shoreliness from plastic garbage, https://www.aclcf.org/typhoon-project-2/#:~:text=TYPHOON%20PROJECT&text=The%20driver%20of%20the%20project,recycling%20or%20proper%20disposal%20structures. https://youtu.be/ghn5opW4ytc As we move further south we pass the island of Kasos, before reaching East Crete and the beach of Kouremenos. There our friends have the #GonesurfingCrete windsurfing and wingfoiling station. Lots of wind resulted in lots of fun in and on the water, while Crete's great cousine and fair prices allowed us to take a small brake from cooking. A light westerly weather window allowed us to sail overnight to #Santorini. The Volcanic island has become one of #Greece's most popular islands, providing spectacular views, magnificient sunsets, interesting geology and probably excellent partiying oportunities. Too crowded and expensive for our budget, we quickly sailed on to #Ios, providing calm anchorages, wingfoiling and our long lost friends from SV Esperanza. Following meeting up with our friends, we have a constant and unofficial race going. Dory Man remains unbeaten to date - although in all fairness we try way too hard not to loose. Lastly, we sail North to Antiparos and Paros exploring lovely bays and islets. Bonus Material : Sv.
