Sailing Lake Powell 2016 Episode3 - Camel Rock, Last Chance Canyon - MacGregor 26M: Galactica

Episode 3: Camel Rock Anchorage & Last Chance Canyon - Picking up not long after we left off on Episode 2 where we opened sails after coming out of the Sand Hills passage . We enjoyed a wonderful sail up trough Padre Canyon Bay and around Gooseneck point past Dinosaur Rock. We were enjoying great sailing towards Gregory Butte but had to seek out a soft beach for that day's anchorage. We end in a small cove near Camel Rock which Angie had spotted when we passed. The Sand Hills was a turning point as you'll see in this video. Everytime we rounded a bend thinking it could not possibly get prettier--it would become almost heartrending with new beautiful vistas! I hope you enjoy this and it inspires other trailer sailors to make the journey and explore the world's beauty!
