For us, this wasn't just another holiday... it was a family reunion we'd been waiting for all year. Every school holiday, Timo's daughters travel from Italy to spend time with us aboard our sailing boat. This visit was especially meaningful because Nonno and Nonna gave us the greatest gift they could—flights for the girls so we could all be together. They joined the trip too, finally getting to experience the boat they had helped us rebuild. During our two-year refit in Fiji, they gave countless hours of support, using their skills as architects and graphic designers to help transform our former racing yacht into our family home. But until now, they'd never actually sailed aboard her. This trip was full of unforgettable moments. It was the first time they met baby Tao, the holiday where Nemo suddenly started speaking fluent Italian with his grandparents and sisters, and a chance to spend precious time together exploring the stunning islands of Thailand. From freediving through underwater caves and discovering hidden lagoons to sharing meals, laughter and family traditions, this was a reminder that no matter how unusual our lifestyle is, family will always find a way to be together.
