SailGP returned to Portsmouth in near-perfect conditions—sunshine, strong breeze, short rigs and spectacular foiling just metres from the shoreline. But while the weather looked familiar, the racing told a very different story. The new split-fleet format delivered tighter competition and further evidence that the days of a handful of dominant teams may be over.
