Sailboat New Bulkhead Installation #43
things are coming along in my sailboat new bulkhead installation is complete in the starboard side. For the new bulkhead build after much research I decided to use MDO foe the new bulkhead build on my sailboat, this is as close as you can get to marine plywood without the price with the added benefit of having ether one or two paintable surfaces. the only difference is that there may be cavities within the sheet. it Douglas Fur plywood with a waterproof glue. and nice faces that can be finished. road signs have been made from MDO for years so it does very well in the elements and has a long track record of getting wet and in some places staying wet for long periods of time. the new bulkhead installation in requires 6 new bulkheads. to carry the load from the chainplates and shrouds. all made from MDO, it will also be using it for all the drop board in the entire boat as well. https://www.patreon.com/sailing_samantas https://paypal.me/SailingSamantas?country.x=US&locale.x=en_US
