Sailboat engine problems - Volvo Penta - Sailing Wales - Holyhead - Ep. 109

We try to leave Porth Dinllaen in North Wales only to find that we have electrical and engine problems. We suspect that we may have salt water corrosion from the water ingress at Beaumaris. Unfortunately, the nearest well supplied port is Holyhead, 35 miles away across Caernarfon Bay and we need to move quick before the tide stops us dead in our tracks. ----- Mechanic ----- The mechanic / engineer who helped us so much is Stuart Cramp and he is a Deputy Lifeboat Mechanic as well as running his own business. His advice was clear, concise and to the point and we are immensely satisfied with the work he undertook on our engine.
