Sail repair at 27 knots | Volvo Ocean Race 2014-15

Dongfeng Race Team had to make some repairs to one of the mainsail batten cars, (on which the mainsail slides up and down the mast track). The crew had to take the mainsail down in order to make this repair, an efficient manoeuvre, with few miles lost to Team Alvimedica and the rest of the fleet. Impressive action at a very respectable speed without the mainsail. The boat even touched 27 knots surfing down one wave.
