Running Before The Wind, and The Economy/Comfort Compromise! - SV Tapatya EP299

Sailing vessel Tapatya. The wind forecast is not exactly favourable so we make the decision to return to Ærøskøbing. A delightful downwind sail brings us there in one hit and, after a night at anchor, we head into the marina to wait out the blow. This is the story of the building of a Jay Benford designed, 31.8ft, junk schooner-rigged cruising sailboat. The videos are a week-by-week record of the build as it progresses and aim to show as much detail as possible of the various aspects of the build. At the time of writing, I've launched the boat and am conducting sea trials. This coming winter, I'll be upgrading her based on what I've learnt and getting ready to sail further afield :) These videos take a lot of time and effort to make, in what is already a time-intensive project.
