Hello. We're back at the boat yard today. It's a cold winter's day but work must go on! Today's mainly about getting the Motor Pad bolts removed so I can replace the bolts and the motor pad itself. One thing you need to keep your eye on with the Drascombe Lugger is the bolts don;t get too rusty, especially if you have the original Zinc glavanised ones (Just like Lulu)! If tehy rust too much they can just break under the weight of the outboard and thats exactly the kind of thing that will happen when out at sea! I also dry fit the battery box and come into a few issue with it so it's back to the drawing bord with that one! It was a niggly old day today, with nothing going right, but you have to have these types of days to clear the path for the good ones so it was good to get it out of the way! Hope you enjoy! 00:00 Intro 00:33 Working and Burnout 03:10 Motor pad bolts/nuts 08:58 Oiling up! 09:49 Anchor Chocs MK5 10:35 Coffee Time and Ant-Foul assessment 12:55 Back to the Rusty nuts! 14:04 Battery Box Dry fit 16:08 Back to the drawing board! 19:39 Testing new pipe clips 21:13 Lunch and home time! 🌐 My new website: https://sailingwithdave.com ❤️ Comments are open, ask anything you want in the comments section! 📢 If you enjoyed this video, then please don't forget to share and let people know about the channel 🔔 Click here to "Subscribe" and never miss a video: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZVuUVKKtVxulmgL3WzejjQ?sub_confirmation=1
