Check that video out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67EoCIl5kl8 After dropping our friends off in Nassau, so they could catch a flight back home, we thought we would try for a 3rd time to get our propane tank filled at the Brown's Marina while here. Trying to get propane in Nassau has been a pain in the butt! Most places that we have found in The Bahamas will have you leave your propane tank over night and then have you pick it up again the next morning, filled and ready to go. We find this to be highly unreliable. On more than one occation, we have returned to pick up our tank the following morning/afternoon, only to find that it hasn't been filled yet, and might not get filled for another day or two. This is very frustrating! We have been waiting for a full day and a half to pick up our propane tank from Brown's Marina in Nassau. We have had to stay at a marina during this time, which has cost us $60 a night! After finding out that the tank will NOT be filled today, we didn't know what else to do. As we were walking past a grocery store we noticed a PROPANE TRUCK parked in the parking lot! We were extremely lucky to bump into the works as they were walking out of the store on their lunch break. They were so kind and willing to allow us to retrieve our tank from Brown's Marina, and bring it to them, so it could be filled right there and then.
