REEFING, WIND and REEFING. Pacific Crossing Part 2 Ep. 105
We cross the Pacific Ocean south of the equator en route to Gambier and experience unsettled wind and wave conditions. We reef the main every night, and at the end of the video we show our reefing hook system that allows us to reef the main from the cockpit, even though we have a rotating mast. Join us on our voyage and experience our sailing adventures. WE MAKE OUR VIDEOS PUBLIC TO SHARE OUR ENJOYMENT OF OUR OCEAN WORLD. About 1 in 500 of us have a silent CCM lesion in our brain. CCMs may unexpectedly bleed and may cause stroke or seizure. People with the genetic form of the disease have multiple lesions. Your contribution will help find a cure. Lisa has dedicated her career to finding cures for neurological diseases and would greatly appreciate any level of support from our BioTrek-sailing audience. 0:00 Intro 1:00 Day 9 Putting up the spinnaker 3:07 – Day 10 Wind is picking up – time to reef the main 4:06 Day 11 Sunrise 5:06 Log book 6:00 Discussing that Saga lost autopilot 6:56 Day 12 Spinnaker up 7:30 Reefing at night 8:27 Up goes the Code D 9:17 Day 13 – weather 10:00 Day 14 - calms 10:26 Problem with code D fixed at sea 12:19 How we reef with our rotating mast 14:09 Destination Gambier MUSIC BY EPIDEMIC SOUND A Bitter Love by Sven Karlsson (Intro music) Enjoy the ride by Razorspade Summer vibe – Tomas Skyleberg I still have my friends – Loving caliber Fear being unfelt -Ingrid Witt Montmirail -DEX1200 Cold Light of Day – Across the Great Valley That’s a shame – Mica Emory Forest Canvas – Elm Lake Million Years – Sture Zetterberg Lost in Atlantis by Smartface (end music) *Web site*: http://www.biotrek-sailing.com BOAT TOURS Ep. 1.
