Rather fancy steps 😆 Ep.155 Building my steel sailing yacht

There has been A LOT of good boatwork going on for Mistress over the past few weeks and in this episode the focus is on the rather complicated engine box-companionway steps and getting the business end of the gas install well underway,... I also make up another nice trim piece and get the engine start panel installed 😁👨‍🔧 Mistress is designed by one of the highly respected Dutch naval architects E.G. Van de Stadt, a Caribbean design, length 40ft/12m, beam 13ft/3.9m, draft 5ft/1.5m. Her hull and decks are built in mild steel and I have built her on my own and am also fitting her out on my own. I have not built any type of boat before Mistress. There were many reasons why, but the work stopped,... However, the work has re-started, thankfully, and I am on an exciting journey to finish Mistress and then go on my sailing adventures,...
