Raising the Sage Marine SageCat mast
Here you can see how easily the mast on the SageCat, catboat version of the Sage 15, is to raise. Facts: *Mast is 20 pounds. *Mast base is a hinge plate style and keeps the foot of the mast stable and in-place while raising. *Boom stays attached to mast (10' long so will not fit in the cabin) *Main is a full batten loose foot fathead type (122 sq.ft.) with slugs *All sail control lines run to the cockpit ... including reefing lines!
