Finally, splash day is only two days away! This time on Sailing Intermission we do final prep with anticipation of Isabella going in the water next week. Karen lubed the Max Prop with Lubriplate No. 130-AA multi-purpose calcium type grease. Props like winches need lubing. As we like to say, “Older sailors don't have a clew when to quit; they just keep lubing their winches.” Even though we prefer the natural look of the prop, we used antifouling paint to protect the feathering blades from corrosion and barnacles. Soaped up the dinghy which was begging to be washed. Last time we did a deck tour. This time Steve takes us down below for a tour of our home improvements thus far and of course…we did some dancing.
