PIRATES? Approached 70 Miles Offshore!
Episode 289 Halfway through our 700-mile passage from Indonesia to the Philippines, everything turns against us. Slugging through brutal counter-currents, slow progress, and rough seas is hard enough—until two small boats approach us 70 miles offshore. With pirate alerts on high, we prepare for the worst. Add in hazardous floating metal debris threatening our hulls and a relentless final motor push against the current, and this passage pushes us to absolute exhaustion. Will we make landfall safely? Hit play to join the crew on one of our most intense offshore legs yet! Thank you to all our subscribers, without you the channel would not exist!
