Pioneer Sailing Trust Apprenticeship

⚓️ Are you already working in a boatyard, or planning a career in the traditional marine industry? This unique apprenticeship is designed to help you develop the practical skills and knowledge needed to become a qualified Level 3 Heritage Engineering Technician (Marine Pathway). Delivered over just over 2 years, apprentices spend one week each month training at Pioneer Sailing Trust’s Harker’s Yard, learning heritage boat restoration and marine engineering skills to take back and apply in their own boatyards. Accommodation is provided during each training week. This is the only apprenticeship of its kind in England, making it a fantastic opportunity for aspiring heritage marine engineers and the employers who want to invest in their workforce.
