Offshore sailor and Round Ireland record holder Pamela Lee talks about the necessity of the new Irish Sailing Women in Sailing Mentorship Programme. Taking a path from fleet racing to offshore sailing, or local to international events can be difficult to navigate, so we are excited to launch our first mentorship programme providing support and advice to women looking to step up and take a new route in their sailing career - afloat or ashore. Phase 1 will be led by Pamela, who will provide personal and group mentoring for women looking for some inspiration, guidance or direction.
