Buying Our Sailboat in Denmark & Preparing for a Circumnavigation Voyage ⛵🌍 This is our story – and it all began in the harbor of Svendborg, Denmark. Here we bought our sailboat, Zoé and just three months later, moved aboard to start our sail around-the-world honeymoon in October 2024. We were already well past the sailing season and in a way, running late. Ahead of us lay the stormy North Sea and the Bay of Biscay. The boat was technically ready but we had no heating and no anchor holder, both still on our to-do list before heading into open waters.
