OUR FIRST SCARY MOMENT | Sailing on a Whim Ep. 18

On this episode of Sailing on a Whim, we learn the hard way that we have no idea what we are doing when it comes to anchoring and have our first scary moment! We have a nightmare of dragging anchor in a rocky anchorage and delay our trip to the Bahamas, for now? This crazy adventure started in early 2018 as we started researching learning how to sail, buy a boat, outfit her, and take off for a life on the open seas. There has been a huge learning curve trying to make all of this happen and we want to share with you everything that we have learned and have some fun along the way.
