Sailing from Mallorca to Sardinia | Sailing Sacred Seas In this episode, we leave the stunning island of Mallorca behind and set off on our longest offshore passage yet—36 hours non-stop aboard our Lagoon 440 catamaran KAIA, bound for the wild western coast of Sardinia. With glassy seas and little wind, we motor-sail through the open Mediterranean, encountering sea turtles, dolphins, curious dragonflies, and the most magical sunsets and starry skies we’ve seen so far. This was also our first night sail together, a huge milestone in our journey as a liveaboard sailing couple (and dogs!). We reflect on how far we’ve come—leaving the UK, sailing the coast of Spain, exploring the Balearic Islands (Ibiza, Mallorca, Menorca), and learning every day how to navigate, sail, and live aboard full-time.
