Our Favourite Island Ever – Sailing L’Attitude – Ep 47

This little atoll of Maupiti makes us very, very happy. We had the best time ever here. The anchorage is perfect, the beaches are like golden pillows scattered amongst coconut palms. The skyline is dominated by a beautiful peak that gave us the most amazing views of the entire atoll. At only 8km, a circumferential walk of the island leads to a flood of fresh fruit, mesmerising flowers and gracious locals. And oh my god those manta-rays were something so unique and special. We would have loved to have spent longer here, but with guests on board, we had to make their flight in Tonga. And once a southerly kicks up in these parts, there is no exiting the pass until it disappears!! One day we will be back and we will stay in here for as long as we like.
