OPTIMIST SAILING - How To Dip Boats | [Medium Conditions]

The Dip is an alternative manouvre to tacking and there are times when you just need to go for clear air so doing it can be beneficial. A lot of sailors forget to ease their sails which is incredibly slow. A dip can be very similar to any mark rounding manouvre where you have to ease and trim in the mainsheet while turning.
