Saturday 16th June, in Valparaiso, symbolic meeting on board of the Race for Water vessel. The president Piñera accompanied with five of his ministers and Rapa Nui elected officials discovered the innovative project for the Easter Island. Ensure energy self-sufficency, water management and waste recycling on the most isolated island in the world, this is the challenge launch by the Race for Water foundation and the foundation Zeri de Gunter Pauli for 2020 ! The Race for Water Foundation is dedicated to the preservation of the water and the oceans in particular. Today, seriously under threat from plastic pollution, it is imperative that this essential resource for life is protected.To prevent plastic waste from reaching the waterways and oceans by developing social models and business models that give value to plastic waste and hence encourage its collection.
