In order to continue our Southeast Asia adventures, we had to make our way up the notorious Malacca Straits. This meant we were once again tangling with the big ships, with the added complication of lots of small fishing boats as well. Oh and the trash is still present, which has an annoying tendency to wrap around props. The winds and currents in this part of the world can be quite tricky, with sudden storms coming up that can bring northerly winds and currents that can be 2+ knots. The best forecast we could find was one with no wind at all so we topped off the tanks and with Amy's cousin Sarah onboard, we went for it (PS: Yes... I know there is some footage that's upside down. When I'm editing in Premiere, it's right side up and since we're in a place where data is super slow and $10/gb, you're just going to have to live with it. haha) Thanks for watching!
