MOTO FISH ! ! ! Adventure Fishing at El Capitan Reservoir - Ep39.

Take a ride with me to El Capitan Reservoir in east county San Diego. This is a beautiful, remote lake. It was my first time here, and I thought I would make a full day's adventure out of it. Luckily, I have a good break-down rod, a 2-piece Okuna spinning reel which was perfect for the journey. I have 10 lb test mono loaded on this rig, and I used a 4 1/2" Roboworm with a pencil drop shot rig set about 18" down from the hook. I also tried an underspin swim bait and a small bass plastic lure. I parked my bike, the Husqvarna FE350, and hiked around, fishing several locations for a few hours. Unfortunately, I had no bites, but what a fun time!! I would absolutely do this again, maybe with a few different rigs and bait options...and can't wait to try my kayak out here at El Capitan.
