More Boat Projects! We have final made it to our new home in Virginia and boy was that shakedown cruise a doozy. We have discovered a whole “boat” load of new boat projects to do. But as they say, your project list never ends. To list off a few items we are starting with: Exhaust hose, alternator, 2 seacocks, replace shore power cords (didn’t know that one before we docked) a haul out with bottom job and all the plumbing that goes with it. We thought we were close to done when we left South Carolina…. but boy were we wrong. It was so nice to have the time on anchor and explore new things every day but there is something a bit comforting about being tied up to the dock as well. So far Urbanna, VA has been a warm welcome like a hug from your favorite aunt. We couldn’t have picked a better place if we tried. Oh, did I mention we weren’t supposed to be here, just happened that way. Crazy how things work out.
