I woke up early in our camper at Cwmtydu, while Jane was still asleep, and set out to explore a hidden cove a local had told me about. But instead of finding the stack she described… I wandered 2.5km the wrong way along the rugged Welsh coast! This unplanned adventure led me to some stunning views, wild ponies, and eventually down to Castell Bach Bay, where ancient rock formations twist out of the sand like sculptures carved by time.
